Description:    This is quite a gem!  This is a candy box that I would date somewhere between 1910 and 1920.  There is some damage to the edge of the photo, but I'd say it's minor.  The inside of the box reads McAlpin Candy Shop, New York.  The bottom has the same wood grain paper that covers the sides.  I'm sure this would be quite charming in displayed in dolly's lap or stashed on the shelf in her cupboard.
