Description:  This is a handmade dolly dresser.  I purchased it from the original owner and there is a note from her explaining that she received it for Christmas in 1927 along with a matching bed and new doll.  She explained that the dresser was originally mahogany and she antiqued it because she was going to use it as a jewelry cabinet.  If I were going to keep it I think I would return it to the mahogany color.   The dresser is in good shape with no splits to the wood and no silvering missing on the mirror.
