Description: This little guy is one of Palmer Cox's Brownies. Palmer Cox was a Canadian illustrator who did a comic strip series about his mischievous little brownies. The brownies included dozens of different characters. I'm not familiar enough to name the one below. His friend Uncle Sam has been sold. These dolls were printed on white cotton and then sewn together by the consumer. The brownies had lots of merchandising including ornaments, china, and composition dolls. The Uncle Sam doll has a date of 1892 on the back which is about right for these dolls. Measurements: 7" tall Price: Remember there are no additional charges for shipping or handling!
