Description:    This is an antique reel style tape measure made of carved bone.  The ivory ring that keeps the tape from slipping inside the reel is missing, but I have some extras.  Remind me and I'll send one along so you can repair it.  Just fold the very end of the tape over the ring and sew it.  The tape is faded, but otherwise in good condition.  The reel moves smoothly and winds well.
